APREX is "April Expedition". Not a traditional DX Expedition (or DX-pedition) as you might think of. APREX is my personal get-away. Just me and my radio equipment. I will be operating mobile and portable on battery power from Calloway County Kentucky USA. This secluded location is 154 miles from my home QTH. I will be operating HF on each of the four days. I will be monitoring 2 meter simplex on both 146.520 and 146.580 during this entire APREX event. 146.580 is the North American Adventure Frequency I will also be monitoring DMR Talkgroup 900 on the TGIF network. My goal is one hundred (100) unique contacts on HF. Logs will be updated here and on QRZ in almost real time ! My call sign while operating in Calloway County Kentucky will be N9KGC/4 |
